350
studies by years

Each year, the CNEP conducts about 500 studies in relation with national and international companies, many of which are located outside France.

Durability of polymer materials formulated under light or thermal stress.

Photochemical, thermal, hydrolytic aging …

Lifetime prediction for indoor or outdoor use

Chemical analyzes of formulations

Measurements of anti-UV, antioxidant additive levels, pigments rate, fillers

Determination of thicknesses and compositions of multilayer films, of finished film packaging

Evaluation of collages, crosslinking of paints

Failures

Determination of oxidation degrees at the surface and at the core of the material by measurements of chemical evolution profile

Detection of damage visually or chemically allowing the understanding of phenomena and support for the resolution of detected problems

Expertises

Expert and scientific expert with insurance companies, courts for any request for chemical damage expertise

Advices and training

On the strength of its Studies and Research, CNEP, in partnership with Laboratories, provides Knowledge Sharing days for members of Companies interested in the Durability of Polymer-based Materials.

Standards and specifications

Thanks to its numerous achievements and studies, CNEP is able to make a decisive contribution in the creation of standards for formulated polymer materials and their uses.
