How do we work A classic case study of photoaging Making contact Following discussions between the project manager and a CNEP representative, a study is proposed, taking into account the project&#8217;s objectives and the samples available for the study. Once agreed upon, a quote and a timeframe for completing the study are provided. Sample receipt and start of the study The samples received at the CNEP are entered into our Quality system and then processed by our team to meet the project requirements and the specifications of our accelerated aging equipment. In the specific case of durability studies, the chemical and color changes during exposure in the SEPAP accelerated photoaging chamber are monitored using FTIR in various appropriate modes and by UV-Visible spectroscopy to obtain a comprehensive view of the underlying mechanisms. Detailed report At the end of the planned exposure period, a report compiling all analyses and developments of the materials, as well as a summary allowing for an estimate of the lifespan of the different materials, is sent to the project manager, who may request advice from the research scientist who wrote the report.
